For the last few years I have worked as a post-doc at the University of Manchester, moving from biochemistry to bioinformatics to software development. I currently work in the Bioanalytical sciences group, located in the Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre as a developer of web-service related projects.

My interests include front-end work in Flash, Flex/AIR and DHTML, web services and Ajax-like querying, as well as programming on the server and databases.
